25.12.2020: Single "Fairy Tale" released

“German singer Nina Caro is back with the best of intense, touching pop that flirts with country rock elements. The song again puts a huge emphasis on the singer’s intense vocals, which sing about the harsh reality of life and, once again, don’t disappoint, delivering a song full of emotion and strong guitar riffs.” (ROCKNBOLD)

♦ About me

Nina Caro

Hi, I’m Nina Caro –

a child of the 80s, music junkie and singer-songwriter. I make indie rock with a 90s touch and a pinch of country.

For me, music is balm for the soul and a wonderful refuge where I can let my emotions run free on the one hand and recharge my batteries on the other. To show that difficult situations packed in a song are a lot easier to bear and you are usually not alone with your fears, worries and desires, I take my listeners into my own personal carousel of thoughts, in which it is sometimes sad, sometimes desperate, sometimes angry, but also combative, hopeful and confident. In my English-language songs, I deal straightforwardly with interpersonal and other challenges that put us all to the test from time to time, and I encourage you to say what’s on your mind and to look forward.

“Music makes me happy”

For as long as I can remember, I have been magically drawn to music. As a child, when I heard the children in the neighboring kindergarten singing, I sang along loudly and wanted to climb over the fence to be right there. And when my parents took me to a rock concert for the first time, I was totally fascinated. My decision to become a musician was made. I quickly discovered for myself how good it is to express my own emotions in songs and how much joy it gives to share music with others.

During an internship in a large recording studio, I quickly realized that the music business is incredibly diverse and exciting, but economically speaking, it is anything but easy terrain. To put my life on a secure footing, I therefore took a different path professionally. I studied law. Inevitably, music took a back seat for a while. But I never lost sight of it.

Quite the opposite: whenever things get difficult – be it because an exam is coming up or a pandemic has just turned everyday life completely upside down – I automatically reach for the guitar and produce my own nerve food in the form of new songs. Then I dive into this so special world in which I can forget everything around me.

That’s how a lot of handmade music has already been created, which I usually record and perform together with Holger, my partner in crime. At the moment we are working every free minute on the recordings for my third singer-songwriter album.
